waging war!

waging war!

angels flap their wings

heed the cries of a righteous soul

a saint has fallen, trapped!

whooshing down wielding flaming swords

to face a familiar enemy:

the hobbling thing with gleaming eyes

awaits in pride and greed.

oh! precious blood flowing from calvary!

demons fall away and tremble,

yet bare their jagged teeth-

scurry in confusion- knowing their defeat

the prayers of a few availed to much

rolls of thunder, lightning claps, swords ring

waging war against a common enemy

get up, dear soul, you are redeemed!

angels flap their wings

to bend the hearts of princes and kings,

to rescue a weary soul,

to perfect the will of the Father,

waging war against an invisible enemy.

all is quiet now, but it will be back,

slithering in darkness seeking to devour...

we gotta stay prayed up on this.

if we don't the angels lose power.

get your armor on child,

be filled with the Holy Spirit!

read psalm 91

questions are you ready for war against the unseen enemy? do you have your armor polished?

God loves you so much! ah, grace and mercy follow me!

song in my head: as sung by cece winans

'anoint my head, anoint my feet send your angels reigning down here on the battle ground for your glory were taking territory fighting unseen enemies like never before! we're waging war! tired of the devil stealing from me...i'm ready for the battle...i'm taking it back.'
