How does one find a place of fullness?
I know a lot of Christians who are brokenhearted, or shattered.
So many women have been hurt by men and men hurt by women. Parents have hurt their children, children have hurt their parents, and so on and so forth...
One cannot move forward without healing and wholeness flowing into these deep places of the heart. But how? How can one be free of hurt and bitterness?
Do you know that God cares?
Sometimes it is a matter of perspective and that we cannot see beyond our problems to notice that God is a caring Father.
A few key questions that you can ask God:
Do I have any open doors to fear or hatred in my life?
How can I close them God? Would you show me how to be free?
This may require taking time to wait on God, to go into deep contemplative prayer.
It hurts me to see so many people wanting to get close to God, but there are walls of protection rooted in bitterness that they have built around themselves. Generic protection from being hurt too much. Where was God? Why did He let that happen?
The hard questions come. You have to ask God these questions. His answers may surprise you and give you a fresh perspective. You may find that He was there experiencing the pain alongside you, or that He was protecting you from a pain far worse than what you feel now.
You are stronger than you know.
God is as near to you as your next breath.
Allow Him to take down the walls you have built.
Let Him show you how to forgive and let go so that you might find wholeness.
I wonder what joy you might find on the other side of that wall?
I know that He has something to put in place of that wall you built.
I pray increase over your life in the realm of the supernatural. I pray that everyone who reads this will fully understand the words written here.
Psalm 34:18
The Lord is close to those who are brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.
Psalm 147:3
He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.
Jesus quoted the prophet Isaiah when he stood up in the temple and read a portion of this passage to astonished onlookers:
Isaiah 61 and Luke 4:18
The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim the good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all those who mourn, and provide for those who grieve in Zion--
to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the day of His splendor.
This short video below really moved me because God showed John how to get healing from his broken heart. Please watch and be blessed in superabundance, in Jesus' name, Amen
